Sounding the Alarm

I just want you to know I am going to sound a little alarmist here, but is that not what a prophet is supposed to do? One of the things that has broken my long stint as Jonah is what G_d has impressed upon me (no real details just the knowledge that something IS going to happen) is that a time is coming when His church here in America will be tried, tested, purged, and persecuted. In the brief history of our country the church has never been persecuted. It has always been revered and honored. It takes a truly blind man to not see what is happening now. Slowly the freedoms that the church once had are being taken away. People are coming to think of the church as irrelevant, and an undercurrent of hostility is brewing. Although He is not giving me any time frame for this to happen the message is urgent and very persistent. Right now the church is being deceived by a very cleverly marketed lie, one of prosperity and feel goodisms. The people who buy this lie will be consumed when this storm hits. It will become very hard to be a follower of Yeshua in that time. I pray that He holds back the tide as there are a lot of lost souls still left out there to reach. Now is not the time to be timid, go share your faith, and the love of Yeshua.
